The Lowcountry Ovarian Cancer Alliance (LOCA) is committed to creating meaningful, measurable impact for women and families throughout Charleston and the greater Lowcountry region.

By the Numbers

Since our founding in January 2024, LOCA has:

Delivered 220 Bags of Hope to newly diagnosed gynecologic cancer patients
Hosted 24 Lunch Bunch gatherings for women in treatment and survivorship
Reached 21,478 community members through ovarian cancer awareness events
Partnered with 10 healthcare providers and organizations across South Carolina
Invested $5,000 directly into medical research for gynecologic cancer
Spoke to over 900 future medical professionals (medical and nursing students) about gynecologic cancers.
